Halloween Party

We’re turning the Arboretum into your Halloween headquarters! Bring the whole family, come dressed in your best costume, and get ready for a little friendly competition, plenty of treats, and a Halloween dance party to finish the night.

Kids can spend the afternoon hunting for candy throughout the Arboretum, with a family and kids’ costume contest in the mix. As the evening rolls in, the party continues with a Halloween dance party, plus classic Halloween games like the Witches’ Broom Game and Donut on a String. We’ll wrap up the night with a couples and adult costume contest, with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!

And, of course, four-legged friends are welcome to join the costume contests, too—because we all know some of the best costumes have four paws.

Come for the candy, stay for the dancing, and show us what you’ve got in the costume department.

12–5 PM | Kids’ Candy Scavenger Hunt
Little ghosts and goblins can explore the Arboretum in search of sweet treats hidden throughout the property.

3 PM | Family & Kids’ Costume Contest
Show off those costumes! We’ll award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. And yes—four-legged family members are welcome to join the fun!

6–9 PM | Halloween Dance Party
The sun goes down and the Halloween party turns up. Grab a drink, hit the dance floor, and stay awhile.

6:30 PM | Witches’ Broom Game
A little Halloween competition with a lot of chaos and fun.

7 PM | Donut on a String
Think you can eat a donut without using your hands? And with vampire teeth? Prove it.

7:30 PM | Couples & Adult Costume Contest
Time to bring out the big costumes. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Dogs are welcome to enter the costume contest, too!
